I have noticed that miracle box cannot backup from some SPD phones but when you obtain firmware from another source it goes ahead to flash it successfully. Is there any thing I'm not doing right? Says Error: Boot ID:1.

Yes... only bootload ID changes from 1, some times it brings 19 and so on.

Consider trying with a dongle (CM2SP2 or NCK) because loader versions aren’t stable especially working on SPD phones.
