This guide will explain how to write / repair IMEI using OTSmart tool. OTSmart is a module under Furious Gold's pack 6
Requirements
- Setup Furious Gold Box / Dongle and activate pack 6
- Download OTSmart from Furious Gold support area
- 1 multipurpose Furious Gold credit
- Internet connection
- IMEI you wish to write
Steps to use OTSmart tool to write / repair IMEI
Follow the steps below to write or repair IMEI using OTSmart tool

- Launch OTSmart.exe

- Wait till the dashboard opens
- Search for and select your model from the dropdown
- Under Operations Box, tick Repair IMEI
- Click Connect
- You should see the IMEI / MEID input box
- Input the IMEI you wish to write and click Done
- Boot the device into Download Mode (Power off > Hold Volume up + Connect to PC via USB cable)
- Once in Download mode, the device should get detected
- Keep holding the Volume up button, the device will reboot several times
- When prompted, save the osp file
- When prompted about getting charged 1 credit for the operation, select Yes
- Once done, you should see the path to the log file

Quote:In this video tutorial, I'll be explaining how to write IMEI to an LG Android device using OTSmart tool. OTSmart tool is a module from Furious Gold. You need to have setup your Furious Gold and downloaded OTSmart tool. I'll link to these then you launch OTSmart. Alright, now that its up, the next thing to do is that you search for your model. You can either use the dropdown or the search menu. I'll just type the model in the search bar then I'll select from the dropdown. Now, under Operations Box, you select what you want to do. I want to repair IMEI so I tick that box and then click Connect. Now you input the IMEI you intend to write then you click DONE. Alright, now you power off the device, you hold the volume up button and connect it to PC via USB cable. That's to boot it into Download Mode and then you wait for it to get detected like it has been. Just keep holding the volume increase button because it will boot into this mode several times. I should mention that this tool requires credits to write or repair IMEI so make sure you have multipurpose credits in your Furious Gold account. Alright, so you can save the osp file. Just keep holding the volume increase button. Alright, so you click Yes when prompted. Make sure you have multipurpose credits in your furious gold account.
