Without a name, this would be quite a challenge.
What's wrong with the phone and what's its present condition?

1. What's the error you're getting with the MTK droid tools backup
2. Copy system.img to a separate folder and try extracting its contents using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-15855.html ; let me know if successful
