[Please help] Tecno tab locks itself
(26-04-2017, 04:54 PM)hovatek(26-04-2017, 11:37 AM)tolumajor i flashed using the first Variant...problem still persists
then i flashed using the second variant this time it is stuck in boot mode...
showing Tecno On & off
then i flashed using the 1st firmware
my tab still locks itself
Hmm..
Try only system.img from the second variant, leave out other files.
Also, is adb able to detect the tab?
I think the problem is the launcher and we'll need to replace it

also can this be a hardware problem?

Use download only.
I think its a software issue

Use download only to flash just the system.img
It can only be a hardware problem if the power button on the device gets pressed automatically. Which is nearly impossible.

This could mean that the power button is somehow being pressed. I would've expected the phone to be in a state of constant reboot if that were the case but it just might still be it.
Lets try this. When the phone shows lock screen, slide down from the top of the screen. You should see a Menu. Look for the Settings icon then tap it. Let me know if the phone goes back to lock screen
