[Tutorial] How to use SP Flash tool to backup Mediatek firmware
(22-02-2017, 12:44 PM)gervinho243 Hello Hovatek.
Thanks for your tutorials, it's very useful.
According to the post, I tried to do all this on 2 different MediaTek phones. But, every time I click on Read back and plug the USB cable into the phone, this one begins charging. I tried to put off the battery for several times, but the same happened...
Any suggestion ?
(27-04-2017, 10:10 PM)SeanLee i keep getting "Obtain DRAM Failed"..
i thought it might be an incorrect hex value..
so i played around but still unsuccessful.
0002D80000 = 0x2D80000
Size: 0001400000 = 0x1400000
i tried adding, removing 0s.
i moved the x.
etc.. nothing works.
Note: i also experienced this error when i tried to flash a custom recovery.
and here's the MTK Droid Tools screenshot, just to verify i did not screw up the hex values.
