Could you explain this OTG issue a little clearer

In settings
- storage (internal storage)
- explore
- long press on any file u want to move/copy (set as marked)
- push three dots on the upper right - choose "copy to"
All storages will be displayed.
Just push on external storage and copy/move.
That' s what worked for my neighbour.
Otherwise It could be a hardware issue. Just speculating, tho.

What's your phone's Build Number?
Install OTG checker from Playstore and lets know the result of the test

That means your device doesn't support it.
Did you say your phone's carton says it has OTG support?
