Try formatting without flashing back the firmware. See if the phone stays dead

Are you saying that after flashing the Walton ROM, your phone still boots directly to recovery mode?

Haven't tried that cos I cudnt see any working Gionee phone to dump d rom

This was a very important test so I need to be certain you understood the gravity and did it right.
I'll take it again
Format the phone (using format only) in SP Flash tool . After formatting, try booting up the phone (without flashing back any firmware to it).
I want to know if the phone stays dead (no sign of life) or can boot up (even if straight to recovery)
