Stock recovery backups are the most unreliable of of all. Even if you downgraded, chances are that you don't have the initial Build Number / date as when you made the backup and all of that seems to matter to the stock recovery.
How did you downgrade the firmware?

That would hinder the restore process.
One approach would be to merge all backups into one userdata.img on Linux using the tool @ http://www.mediafire.com/file/n84s548dx5...kp2cwm.zip
Another (not certain it'll work) would be to do a factory reset in recovery mode then retry restoring the backup (copy the backup to your PC for safe keeping)

I have the same problem like accessnuah.

I have an Ulefone S8 pro with Android 7.0. In these times, Ulefone used stockROMs on their phones.
I have made a backup within the original recovery.
Now I have the problem to restore this backup to the phone.

Is it still possible to merge all backup-files to one big one, and then use this tool to convert the userdata.img to a cwm-Backupfile?
Does the tool can handle backup-files made with Android 7.0?

Second question: How do I merge the files to one big one?

Please help me.

Regards
