So i have a samsung galaxy a5 clone with a mt6580 chipset. I ve been trying to port cwm recovery to no luck. I always end up having an unbootable recovery.
I am asking for help to those who have knowledge in porting cwm to please port cwm for me. Heres my stock recovery http://www.datafilehost.com/d/b5f77a20

Follow the rooting guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16629.html but use your CWM

I flashed it on my phone and it worked! problem is the screen is upside down.....is there a work around sir?

Sir I flashed the recovery that you provided but the same problem persists, the display is upside down. Also there is no option to backup to external SD.

My original recovery file size is 16mb but I decompiled and recompiled it using mkboot to reduce the size.I flashed the recompiled stock recovery and it booted and that is the stock recovery that I uploaded which is of smaller size. Could it be the culprit of inverted display or its because of kernel incompatibility? Thanks.
