Hello

Im opening this thread to learn how to remove network lock - manualy, without entering(buying) code for desired IMEI

Some custom roms dont have the lock, but some of the them are locked - i gues that depend on the developer who "cook" the rom, and its locked on certain network.

The question:
* Is it posible to manualy edit custom/stock rom ?
* With editing rom, can/can't be removed network lock ?
* What is necessary to edit rom ?
* Positive and negative effects of editing rom ?
* ...

Every opinion is knowledge...
p.s. Sorry for my bad English

its quite possible for a custom ROM to inherit certain restrictions depending on the carrier of the phone from which it was created. it would greatly help to know what chipset your phone is running on, and also if what you mean by network lock is the phone requesting for SIM unlock code whenever you insert any SIM.

Is it the zip you flashed in CWM that caused the SIM lock or the flashable one (the ones in the picture)?
