[Custom ROM] Network lock / SIM ME Lock
[Custom ROM] Network lock / SIM ME Lock
(15-01-2015, 02:43 PM)Grncharov Hello
Im opening this thread to learn how to remove network lock - manualy, without entering(buying) code for desired IMEI
Some custom roms dont have the lock, but some of the them are locked - i gues that depend on the developer who "cook" the rom, and its locked on certain network.
The question:
* Is it posible to manualy edit custom/stock rom ?
* With editing rom, can/can't be removed network lock ?
* What is necessary to edit rom ?
* Positive and negative effects of editing rom ?
* ...
Every opinion is knowledge...
p.s. Sorry for my bad English
(15-01-2015, 03:45 PM)hovatek its quite possible for a custom ROM to inherit certain restrictions depending on the carrier of the phone from which it was created. it would greatly help to know what chipset your phone is running on, and also if what you mean by network lock is the phone requesting for SIM unlock code whenever you insert any SIM.
(15-01-2015, 06:39 PM)Grncharov Its Alcatel One Touch S'POP 4030x MT6575
and yes, when insert SIM says SIM ME LOCK
(15-01-2015, 07:30 PM)hovatek list the files present in this particular custom ROM
(15-01-2015, 09:27 PM)Grncharov do you mean of these files (flashable) :
or (located in zip):
data
META-INF
system
boot
/if those arent the files you ask for, please tel how to get them
(15-01-2015, 10:11 PM)hovatek i meant (located in zip):
data
META-INF
system
boot
Is it the zip you flashed in CWM that caused the SIM lock or the flashable one (the ones in the picture)?
(15-01-2015, 11:02 PM)Grncharov i use CTR-recovery - 2.7
but in both ways (instalig from zip / flashing with SP flash tool) i get SIM ME Lock
(16-01-2015, 04:28 PM)Grncharov I flash without user data, there is no user data file in flashable folder
