I'm finding it difficult to update apps on my galaxy s5 no matter how strong the signal is. I'll have to keep switching my data service on on off. What can I do about this

Each time I tried to update the apps that are due for update, it will start downloading but will stop on it's own sometimes it won't even go beyond 3%. Not until I switch off the data and switch it on again. This is how I'll continue before successfully updating any app. This is happening even though the service is strong because I stream video with it smoothly

Locate Google Play Store and Play services under Settings > Apps and clear their data and cache.
Also, sign out of your Google account under Settings > Accounts then re-sign in
BTW, does this also occur when you're connected to a WiFi network?

I connected to a wifi network using glo and didn't witness any difficulty updating my apps. Everything went well

I tried everything possible to sign out of my Google account under settings but I couldn't

Backup your important stuff then do a factory reset then
