(23-01-2015, 05:57 PM)Bari Yes but The KK was too big for v3

lets focus on v5 and meta mode on the phone
before connecting to PC for SPflash tool flashing, ensure the phone is off then try the following button combos

volume up
volume down
volume up + down
power + volume up
power + volume down

Try this
Change USB-port and transfer SP Flash Tool to the root of your main harddrive ( C: )

I cleaned out all my drivers withusb deviewer and reinstalled using the MTK 65xx preloader drives but sp flash tools and my computer wouldnt read the device. My computer read the device as unknown. My phone was only read after I connected my computer to the internet and it automatically searched for the drivers. It was read as MTK USB Port(COM 18) . Sp Flash Tools also read it but it gave the same error 4001

have you changed the location of SP flash tool as recommended above and run as admin?
If same thing, try another USB cord and PC

try the vcom drivers @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html and ensure to install all drivers in the zip. You could also google for the drivers for your exact model. Its a communication issue. Also, try a range of sp flash tool version 3-5 and both the jellybean and kitkat ROMs
