[Please help] Custom recovery for Innjoo Halo 3
(20-11-2017, 11:42 PM)ThePunisher Yes, I downloaded the right version.
Tried it on a x86 Windows 10, same thing.
But I tried to do this on a Wiko Pulp (MTK too). It works on the Wiko, no crash. So it's something to do with the InnJoo. Maybe because the battery is non-removable?
Do I need root to try the SPFlash method?
Also, I will try to use one of those chinese root methods, like KingoRoot. I've had success converting KingoRoot to SuperSu before. Maybe then I'll be able to pull the files myself, or use one of the root methods.
Thanks for not giving up!

One click root apks won't work. You'll need the scatter file and recovery.img to be able to use the SP flash tool method but you don't have the firmware. That's why we've asked you to make a scatter dump so we can extract the needed files
Can the phone enter fastboot? That's another technique we could use
(21-11-2017, 02:01 PM)ThePunisher Yeah, it can. I unlocked the bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock", so it should be fine.

Download the scatter file for your chipset @ [REMOVED]
Follow the guide @[REMOVED] and readback only boot.img and recovery.img
Skip the MTK Droid tools part since you already have a scatter file.
The start and length values you need can be obtained from the scatter file
physical_start_addr is the start
partition_size is the length
Let me know how it goes
(22-11-2017, 01:41 AM)ThePunisher Couldn't do it... Error 5054, Obtain DRAM failed!
Tried on two computers, two cables and several different USB ports...
Crap, I really don't want to be stuck with an unrootable phone...
I really appreciate your patience.

You must have downloaded the wrong scatter file.
Which scatter file did you download?
(22-11-2017, 01:09 PM)ThePunisher MT6737M_Android_scatter.zip
Which I believe is correct.

Check your comment at [REMOVED, I still can't post links.] . I see MT6735

(22-11-2017, 09:17 PM)ThePunisher I don't know why Miracle Box thought it's MT6735, but I downloaded that scatter and tried.
