ensure that the phone is switched off before connecting it to the PC
are you getting any error in miracle box?
what windows version is your PC running on?

Uninstall all MTK drivers then reinstall. Ensure to follow the guide at https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html
BTW, are you using the hardware dongle or loader version?

Attach screenshot of the error, let's took a look.
Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VCOM drivers as @hovatek directs you to do?

I tried searching for firmware or TWRP Recovery.img for my variant which is "X556-H371A-N-171229V207" .
All can find is "X556-H371A1-M-160906V70", even on infinix and other site like needrom.com.

try the miracle box dumping process on a different PC
BTW you may not find the firmware for this build X556-H371A-N-171229V207 as it looks like one of the most update builds
what exactly are you trying to do?

I've tried the dumping again it worked. But i'm facing a serious problem with that. After every backup I do using Miracle Android Box, my phone won't switch on any longer, I will have to keep it
untill the phone battery drains off completely, before I can charge or boost to switch it back on.
    Any help with that?
