Also ticking the Userdata results in Status_MMC_ERR (0×C0040030)

(23-06-2018, 05:54 AM)Benzalf I just flashed the stock ROM (download only).
It still won't get past the 'Tecno' screen.
Is it a good idea to try 'Format all + Download'?!

You really shouldn't have needed to flash the full rom but that's already done.
Did you do a factory reset in recovery mode after flashing?

flashing boot, recovery and system should be enough
did you perform a factory reset after flashing the stock rom?
and the does the build number of the rom you flashed match with the original build number of your device?

I couldn't do a factory reset because after flashing both the Magisk and stock boot.img, there was no recovery mode. Only Fastboot mode was working, even after flashing the stock recovery over and over.
That's what made me flash the whole ROM.
Also my original build number ended with 180521V177 after the most recent update (it was 180424V158 out of the box) whereas the stock ROM I downloaded was V170. I wanted to update before rooting so that I'll not be pestered with the System Update notification anytime I put my data on and also to get the latest version coupled with root privileges.

what button combo are you using to attempt booting into recovery?
have you ever been able to access recovery mode on this device in the past?
how were you able to access fastboot mode without recovery mode and unable to boot to homescreen?
did you dump the firmware of your device while it was still running either of this two builds [180521V177  or 180424V158 ] ?

Volume Up + Power was what got me to the recovery menu before I flashed the boot.img from Magisk. It didn't work afterwards, even after flashing the whole ROM.
Volume Down + Power did get me to the Bootloader always. But you can't boot to recovery mode from Fastboot.
And I couldn't make a backup with the Miracle Box. That was the original reason for this thread.
Without a backup, I can't really tamper with my phone.
So I cheated warranty. ?
I relocked my bootloader, formatted all flash and took it CarlCare last Saturday. Got it back just yesterday. They replaced the motherboard, I think because it's got a different IMEI.
I have a link to a newer Miracle Box with it's loader.exe. Some people claim it's worked for them so I'll download and test it to see if it'll dump my firmware then we see the way on from there.

I've always been rooting and fixing dead bricked phones for others for free. I can't believe I couldn't root/fix my own phone!
Now I have it back. So, somebody, help me root this 'bad boy'!
Hahaha!

Now, have you backed up the device's firmware using the custom Download Agent (DA) we provided and wwr (or Miracle Loader if you think this will work)?
