In need of TWRP for infinix Note 4 X572
(24-06-2018, 04:31 PM)generation07 Please can you port a twrp for me. I badly need one. I have tried porting using the Auto twrp porter but when I flash, it flashes successful but when I try to but into recovery, it gets to android logo, gives a peep sound and then restart to the system. I have flashed countless recovery I ported with the tool but the same issue: 'boots to the android logo, gives a peep sound and then restart to home screen'. A twrp is badly needed. Thank you. Attached is my phone information. Am using oreo 8.1 on infinix note 4 X572
(25-06-2018, 05:12 PM)X3non where / how did you get the stock recovery.img you used for porting? You helped me to backup using miracle box and wwr mtk tool + sp flash tool here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23208.html and I used the recovery backup from both backup process to try.

(25-06-2018, 09:03 PM)X3non ok, it might be due to dm-verityThe truth is, everything was rapid from the point where I entered option 8.1 to the point when I was given 30 seconds to press any key to finish. Everything was rapid so I did not have chance to read through but if it had prompt me to patch boot.img, then obviously it would have stopped and prompted me but nothing of that sort happened. As soon as I pressed any key to continued, I press option 8.1 for my Android version and it afterwards detected my stock recovery: that was it. It did everything to the end without stopping and it was rapid/fast so I did not see DM_verity found.
when you used the v1.2 porter, did you get any message such as "DM_Verity found, You'll need to patch boot.img" ?

(26-06-2018, 05:53 PM)hovatek Strange. Feedback from an X572 Oreo user @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-218...#pid139348 confirmed it worked.Really, it worked for the person, then maybe I will have to ask for the ported twrp of that person so I try with flash cos I can see that we share the same build number.
1. Are you certain you selected the correct Android version (check your Setting > About) because the tool has 3 options for Oreo; 8.0 , 8.1 and 8.1g
2. At the end of porting (the 30 seconds countdown, you'll see a message stating if DM verity was found or not.
It would help to did a video recording and uploaded
