Please, for this session, you'll only be using the scatter file contained in our backup. Now, load the scatter file in our backup and tell us which items are ticked and which items are not ticked

You're not supposed to tick them yourself. After you load scatter file, the list will appear. You're to observe which is ticked and which isnt ticked from the list. This tells you which files are recognized / present and which ones are missing. you don't tick them yourself

ok
the files that were ticked are
preloader,mbr,ebr1,uboot,bootimg,secro,logo,ebr2 and android
thats all, the recovery, cache and userdata wasnt ticked, the recovery file from the back up wasnt just named 'recovery' it is named 'factory non modified recovery' thats why i located it myself and tick from sp flash tool

Ok. Now, you'll need to do a firmware upgrade. Open the scatter file in notepad. look for any item that has __ in front of it and copy the __ . paste this __ in front of cache to become __cache and in front of userdata to become __userdata then save the scatter file

in front or behind?, cuz it looks like u meant behind.
i pasted it in front and then behind the userdata and cache.. when i loaded spflashtools, the two files are still listed, should i continue?

Hi @ Hovatek. My device is the Tecno P5. I started from scratch. FlashTool automatically ticked all except Boot.img and Recovery. It does a quick 100% before popping a brom dram 4039 error: make sure the load is for the destination device.
And again, must a memory card be present?

Driver: MTK USB PORT (win xp), MTK VCOM USB PORT(win 7). Thannnks.
