Hi

Maybe someone remembers me from this thread: forum hovatek com/thread-23584.html

Well I got my phone working now but im unable to flash any recovery.

I searched for a recovery (twrp) specifically for ulefone power 3s. Found some on the internet, but im unable to flash those.
The flash process itself is succesfull, but it doenst boot into recovery. Just a black screen which reboots to OS.

When my screen was distorted I was able to flash recovery and boot into twrp sucessfully. However it doesnt work on my rom.
Works on the old rom where my screen has wrong driver, but doesnt work on my rom where screen functions.

I tried Auto TWRP recovery porter and im able to boot into it. However I get many errors when I try to flash zip or backup anything
"failed to mount /sys (invalid argument)" etc..

For some reason I can only boot after flashing. When I restart the phone twrp is gone and the android logo comes up with "no command"

Any ideas?

its normal for TWRP to get replaced by stock recovery, refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-10992.html

for the error you encountered when trying to flash zip, it seems like mount point errors.
zip and upload your stock and twrp you got from our tool then post the download link here

There you go.

Version 1.2 works (booting into recovery)
1.0 gets me black screen. Same for Phils.

I can see that the mount points don't match (which could explain the mount error). I also see DM_Verity which could explain the bootloop. V1.2 of our tool must have warned you about the presence of DM_verity.
Provide your boot.img (for manual patching) or patch using Magisk @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html and flash the patched boot to your phone.
Lets know when that's done before we can proceed with the recovery

Hi

The recovery doesnt give me bootloop. I can boot the phone without problems into the OS. The tool didnt give any warning either. Everything was ok
The only problem is that I cant do anything in twrp because I get no access to anything.
V1.2 Boots succesfully into TWRP. However gets deleted/reset after first launch. Android No command shows up. Phone still boots into OS.
V1.0/Phils Does not boot into TWRP. Just black screen, then resets and boots into OS.

I tried flashing the patched boot from magisk, but this actually gives me a bootloop. Doesnt work. Flashed original boot.img back and phone starts again now.

Here the original and patched boot.img if you want to take a look.

here's patched_boot and twrp at https://mega.nz/#!YTphmRRZ!cJjqUmXBqyuXa...9jKIeLkLrI
first flash patched_boot and reboot to homescreen; lets know if you can successfully boot into homescreen after flashing patched_boot
then power off the phone and try the twrp; check if the mounts now work

I flashed the patched_boot and my phone was able to start into homescreen. Then I flashed the recovery and I was greeted by a "data partition is encrypted" screen where I have to enter a password.
I dont have any password or anything set on my phone. Was unable to provide any password. I simply clicked on cancel and did format data (which now works with the patched_boot)

After that I immediately started twrp again and it didnt ask me again.
Now it shows me my Internal storage size (64 gb) but still have no deep access to it. I was unable to find my zip files. And I still cant access my external sd card (0 gb)

When I start phone and go into homescreen and start twrp, it asks me for a password again.

I managed to fix it!

Heres what I did

- Flash your patched_boot.img and recovery.
- Boot into recovery (asks for password) simply cancel and go format data
- Restart phone and boot into recovery/TWRP. Dont let it boot the OS. TWRP does not ask for password but you still have no proper access to internal storage (cant flash files)
- Now in TWRP go to advanced and click ADB Sideload and flash no-verity-opt-encrypt zip
(https://mega.nz/#!OVpzVCYS!Q5Ftus5j3yGKj...q-pCgqE8ZA)

Now simply reboot and do the whole new startup wizard and next time when you boot recovery it wont ask for password and you get full access to internal storage. Successfully flashed supersu this way.
For some reason my sd card still has no access but im not going to bother as long as it works this way

Thanks to you all for your time and effort. Wouldnt have done it without you!
