2. We'll look into this in future versions
3. If you don't want to use Magisk then you can flash your stock boot (we'll need to patch that manually; so no root after flashing it) and TWRP then flash supersu. I can't say whether or not the recovery booting thing will persists though
Upload your stock boot.img and recovery.img
But then, if am able to boot to recovery, install supersu and make backup: It will be good.
(29-06-2018, 09:45 AM)hovatekThis one is smooth and boot is very much simple. No root nonetheless but the password thing is still pending.(28-06-2018, 04:30 PM)generation07(28-06-2018, 01:56 PM)hovatek 1. (29-06-2018, 01:30 PM)generation07 Everything is good now, at least, am able to install, boot to recovery and backup. Despite the fact that it is encrypted and I can't backup /data:
Thank you very much team hovatek for this massive aid. Thank you.
(02-08-2018, 10:17 PM)successnbd Why dont u backup ur files b4 doing any other tinNo, it always asks for the password anytime I enter the recovery. I just want to remove it permanently cos I don't want to delete my data and then restore afterwards anytime I enter the recovery.

(02-08-2018, 09:53 PM)generation07 I installed twrp on infinix note 4 x572. Anytime I boot into recovery, it asks for a password to decrypt data
The only way to decrypt is to delete or format the data please how can I decrypt the data without destroying my files.
(30-06-2018, 11:59 AM)hovatek Try this TWRP @ https://mega.nz/#!lSZxzYCR!WkFlcUPcbm12J...yp1OnKKAkI if it removes the /data backup restrictionThank you very much and very much appreciate it. Sorry for the lengthened delay in replay. I just flashed this recovery.img and the truth is, it flashed successfully, booted smoothly, the password request did not show but /data partitions is still 0MB. I even tried to format /cache partition but it failed with a feedback that "can't mount internal storage".
(03-08-2018, 12:11 PM)hovatekIt flashed but could not boot into recovery. At android screen, it gives a peep vibrate and reboots into home screen.(02-08-2018, 09:53 PM)generation07 I installed twrp on infinix note 4 x572. Anytime I boot into recovery, it asks for a password to decrypt data

Wiping your data is the way to resolve this thing especially when you have an encrypted / protected /userdata.
If your phone is running on Oreo then try this TWRP @ https://mega.nz/#!MSQD0AoS!I4yhXcCljqWA0...SANR7ioc_U and give feedback
