(27-11-2018, 04:57 AM)dimmicks Hi,
I really appreciate your help with this. The factory won't help because its out of warranty.
For the address lengths you asked for they only come to about 12Mb and 6Mb respectively. Are there supposed to be more trailing zeros?
Here is a link to the whole files.

Something seems to be wrong with the images.
Ensure you're using sp flash tool v3.
try these values
Boot
Start 0x2d80000
Length 0x600000
Recovery
Start 0x3380000
Length 0x600000

(29-11-2018, 04:40 PM)dimmicks Hi,
The contents of both links appear to be identical, but I downloaded the second link and those Are the same files I've been using.
Like I said I don't know what the previous owner did to this tablet. Could have dropped it or any number of things. Since It would load pre-loader, Logo etc. I figured it wasn't damaged.
If the image would load maybe it would work, unless using a bad scatter file messed it up in the first place and there is no way to go back and manually fix it.
Do you know how to interpret the log files SPFT tells you to activate when it fails to download an image and gives 4010 error?
Thanks,
Shannon

Error 4010 points at an overlap. Refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-439.html
Upload the recovery.img, scatter file and boot.img from one of the roms you downloaded and paste the link. Lets see if i'm able to unpack them

I was able to unpack this boot.img. Which means the problems was from your boot.img backup.
I suspect we're dealing with a damaged / corrupted emmc chip
