The battery was down then I charged for like some hours. Then I switched on but it stopped at the tecno start up screen. Then when off.
I have charged for hours but it is not coming on.
Thanks

happens a lot on Tecno phones with inbuilt battery. when you switch off the phone and connect it to charger, does it show the charging sign? and at what % is it?

It doesn't show the sign of the battery charging. Just a blank screen.
Thanks for the timely response.

now, your battery is likely drained and probably has some static electricity siting around. you have to options:
1. have the battery taken out and charged / boosted using an external charger
2. keep trying to put on till the battery drains completely (no longer comes on when you press power button) then connect to charger and keep charging till it shows the charging sign and keep charging till at least 50% before booting
