yes, do that
a simpler path could be C:\recovery.img or on an external or extra hdd partition D:\recovery.img

If you wish to avoid programmer then you could just go with fastboot.
That error prompt is blocking a lot of info I was looking out for
For example, the file paths. Hope there's no space in any folder name i.e talk *space* kosher?
Also, rename the file to recovery.img

but i can confirm that there is a space in one of my folder name ,in case someone else have the same issue.

from your screenshot, flashing was successful
since you flashed original recovery image, then check if you can still boot into recovery mode
