does the wifi ssid show up at all or it doesn't show up when you search for available wifi?

It started last week when I switched it on, the process is as follows...
1. the boot sign shows (network and signal indicator) comes on.
2. Standard procedure; It goes off and comes on immediately, but mine goes off only to come on 20 min or 30 mins later.
3. and yes it shows the wifi name but when I try connecting to it, it does not respond.

@ xenon and others.Sorry for the late reply. I was not with the spectranet mi-Fi.
Reset the mifi, Yes that I what I did, I did not flash any usbloader.bin . I tried again to Reset it.
It did not :
a) connect to my network provider.
b) connect to my phone properly again, and when it did, I could not go to the sign in/home interface.
