(09-09-2019, 06:48 PM)Shogun Shogun What about to the devices that does not have recovery partition? My device seem to have the recovery located on boot partition (recovery and boot images on one partition).
Did tried this auto porter using the boot.img since this phone does not have recovery.img but it does not work (phone does not respond to turning on/charging).

(19-09-2019, 12:32 PM)Codexx I don't think this process is applicable for infinix note 5 specifically....I am yet to see or hear any infinix note 5 users root or flash custom roms on their note 5 successfully....may be the Android community is yet to find a solution to infinix note 5... because I HV been searching for a long timeyou can simply root using boot.img (download boot.img @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23512.html ) and magisk manager @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html
