Ok, so I figured out why AIS was showing error, actually I was trying to unpack twrp directly downloaded from the link, later I used my mind and backed up recovery that was running in my phone and tried to unpack and successfully made the changes then repacked.
After flashing this new recovery I didn't wipe system but I tried to flash system.img and I saw a new option i.e; "system" has also added in partition section (I think it's newly added because I didn't find it earlier in partition section). I was confused that do I have to flash sys img in that new partition but then I chose "system" as partition but TWRP said system img can't be flashed to system partition then I selected "sys img" as partition which was already available in TWRP before editing and after too and flashed and got the same results i.e; TWRP didn't show any running scripts just displayed "flash sys img" and gave success message after few seconds. After reboot, phone didn't boot to home sceen even I flashed boot img from the same build and flashed magisk.
I have given the screenshot of new TWRP you can see

BTW What should now I do ?and why attached screenshots don't show in app?

Update: I decided to flash system image from v189 and successfully flashed system and boot and then installed magisk zip and phone was successfully booted up to home screen in first attempt but the same OTA problem.
What is it, why v166 isn't working?
And how can I install OTA manually, I have OTA zip of November patch. When I select it from system update settings it says it's not suitable.

attach a screenshot showing the contents of both firmwares you have
are both firmwares factory firmware or backup you made?
check the file system of both boot and system.img from both builds if they're the same ; see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-25484.html

post your OTA issue in a different thread, i believe you already have one @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-31760.html

Both firmwares are downloaded from internet, not my backups, v189 @

And v166 (not sure)@

However, the "system file check" is something going over my head even I tried but cygwin terminal is not opening and I am not getting the directories as shown in the post.

you can skip the system check, since both a factory firmwares then both will be android sparse images. its either
1. the image is corrupt maybe from extracting or copying
2. you did something else e.g flashing before you made the new modifications to the twrp

Although I couldn't understand properly but as I understood I can say that
1) the corruption of image only you can find out I don't know much about such things while
2) if you are asking that did I flash something in TWRP before modifications then yes I did some zip flashings or if you are asking did I flash this firmware then yes I flashed it many times.
But not that exact firmware I mean the screenshots I attached are the firmwares that are not extracted yet I just directly took screenshots of the firmwares going inside zip files .
I am really sorry if my answers are not even around your questions, but plz tell me exactly what you want to ask.

not necessarily asking, i merely stated what might have gone wrong and your second answer seems like you did things differently from when you flashed the v166 and when you flashed v189

(08-01-2020, 04:46 AM)Bhupender890 No it's not like that, I followed the same procedure to flash both firmwares i.e; no wiping any partition just installing system and boot img then installing magisk root.
..

Sorry if you found it as new question but it's related to twrp. I just shared an experience.
