(15-04-2020, 02:56 PM)Stadet100 the build number of the phone when i bought it new was: LEAGOO_KIICAA_POWER_OS3.0 Lite_20170831.
i have flashed it once before, and the build number of the firmware is: LEAGOO_KIICAA_POWER_OS3.0 Lite_20170915.
when it developed problem, i flashed that firmware again but it dint work, so i now flashed this latest one: Leagoo_Kiicaa_Power_MT6580_R2_20180129

if i understand correctly, you've flashed LEAGOO_KIICAA_POWER_OS3.0 Lite_20170831 and the phone still remains totally dead?
if yes, did you disconnect / reconnect the battery clip then try charging the device?
if yes and the device still remains totally dead then the emmc chip (hardware) on your device is faulty and most likely requires replacement
firstly, i dint flash LEAGOO_KIICAA_POWER_OS3.0 Lite_20170831, that is the firmware dat came with the phone new, it was LEAGOO_KIICAA_POWER_OS3.0 Lite_20170915 that i flashed on it b4 and it used to worked fine.
secondly; did you mean taking out the battery connector or just the battery? i av removed the battery several  times and still nothing.
lastly i attempted flashing it again 2 days ago and i got some error messages, also when i performed a memory test on it, it still came up with an error, message....i've attached the error messages please help go through them and tell me what you think is wrong.
thanks a lot for your help.

thanks for your help,
i followed the instruction in the link you posted but i encountered an issue where i was to check if the img file is sparse or ext4, after i typed the file command it showed 'data' so i couldnt tell if its sparse or ext4. im a total novice in programming.
another thing is when i couldnt tell if its sparse or ext4, i tried running the simg2img command to try converting it to ext4 but i got this message "-bash: simg2img: command not found".
what can i do? i attached screenshot of the cygwin window.
thanks.

if you concatenated all the files correctly and got data as output, then it's neither sparse nor ext4
it must be an encrypted userdata, you can't extract anything from an encrypted userdata backup
