need help to revive my bricked Tecno WX3P (WX3P-H8017AB-N-170523V63)
(10-08-2020, 11:12 AM)DivergentSony no. I thought because the file is in .ext4, so it should be in ext4 format.
UPDATE: I just tried to check the file format now and cygwin says it is "POSIX Tar archive". Which type of file is that?
I'm confused now as it isn't sparse image that can be converted to ext4 file with sgs2toext4
(11-08-2020, 10:44 AM)DivergentSony Ok. when I open it with 7zip, will I be able to see the folders in the internal storage that contains app data or what do I do next?
Then secondly, what's the right way for me to rename the backup extension file especially as I want to open it with 7zip?
Is it fulldata.img or fulldata.ext4.img or fulldata.ext4.win that the file extension was when I did the concatenation?
(05-09-2020, 09:40 PM)DivergentSony Pls do you know how I can do something like this on my notepad app where I saved some notes and Opera Mini where I saved some offline pages? I've extracted the app data for both apps from the userdata tar file.
