Hi, I used the Auto TWRP porter to make a recovery.img for my device ( I reflashed the stock ROM with sp flash tool first so it is definitely the correct recovery file).
I flashed the vbmeta then flashed the ported TWRP with fastboot but it will not boot into TWRP, it boots into the stock ROM and TWRP is replaced with stock recovery.
I tried holding the volume up button while giving the fastboot reboot command, it didn't work either.

I followed all the steps I could from this guideĀ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-10992.html sp flash tool will not flash it the recovery file.

Please help.

TIA

did you rename recovery-from-boot.p?
if you keep getting stock recovery then you need to rename or remove that file from /system

root the device > using a root file manager, navigate to "/" (root directory) and rename or delete recovery-from-boot.p
