Hello, i used hovatek twrp auto porter 1.4 to port twrp. It succeded but the twrp doesnt work Sad It blackscreens and restarts. I have disabled dm_vefify, formated storage but nothing works. Also the ported twrp is very small only 9,6mb in size compared to 16mb stock recovery.
Is there any way to get it working? Thanks

Android version is 8.1 go. I disabled dm_verify via magisk by checking that dm_verify option and flashing modified boot.img via spflashtool

if i understand you correctly, you tried twrp from 8.0 , 8.1 and 8.1G and in all cases, the phone was running magisk patched boot; is this correct?
if yes, what's the kernel version of the phone?

file size has nothing to do with the recovery not working, BTW you should know that 16mb is the partition size (it's not the full size of the contents of stock recovery, stock recovery will probably be 10mb or less)
