We dropped a guide on how to use MTK droid tools to port Clockworkmod recovery version 5 to your MTK Android (e.g Tecno, Gionee, Infinix, Opsson, TLC, Lead1, Innjoo etc ) phones. Now, its time to upgrade your MTK phone's recovery mode to Clockworkmod version 6 (Carliv Touch Recovery) . Note that this method is the same for other MTK based phones.

Requirements

Follow the steps below to port Carliv Touch recovery for your Mediatek Android phone

  2. Extract the content of  CTRv2.2.zip to a folder
  3. Enable USB debugging on the phone then connect it to the PC
  4. Temporarily disable your Antivirus
  5. Launch CTRv2.2.exe as Administrator on your PC

  7. Click Yes to disable UAC
  8. Click Yes for Auto-Port
  9. Ensure the phone is connected to the PC with USB debugging enabled then click Ok
