Hi,

I am trying to install win10 on my oBook 11 (it was bricked, I managed to install regular win10 but now I want to install the official ONDA Windows 10, which I got from here: https://firmware247.com/onda-tablet-obook-11-firmware/)

The inside of the ROM looks like this (see attachment: Win10_rom.png).

I followed the steps from this guide: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-18218.html

I created a hidden partition using the winpe_x86_win10.iso.

Formatted the USB stick to NFTS and renamed it to: "WINPE". Copied all of the files from the Rom folder to the stick.

When I turn on oBook and enter Boot Manager I can see only two options:
- Windows Boot Manager
- Internal EFI Shell

Any help would be appreciated, I'm at my wits end.

ensure to connect the bootable usb to the pc before you power it on
if you're still unable to get a detection in boot manager, then try a different usb flash drive

Yeah, tried two different sticks and I am sure that they are connected.

I ended up booting from an ordinary Win10 x64 installation iso and wiped partitions completely. I am now installing regular Win10 system.

If anyone has a link to oBook 11 drivers for Win10 x64 that would be helpful.

you could attempt to install the driver and let windows search online
or
windows update > view all optional updates > driver update (if you have anything under this list then download and install all)
or
you could attempt to reach out to the onda support team, see if they can provide you a link to the drivers

I installed Windows 10 but when it only detects "Unknown device" and cannot find anything online.

I tried writing to Onda via official website - no response.

Your screenshot contains a win10 system installation tutorial html. have you tried following the steps outlined in it? Some firmware have slightly different variations

I did, could not find any win10 x64 drivers.

I screwed something up and now the eMMC drive shows up as 7 GB (not 64 GB) and I cannot format / repartition it at all...

in windows? you could try using MiniTool Partition Wizard ; see if it detects the rest of the storage
if it does then you can repartition the device

I am using EaseUS Partition Master to boot from a bootable USB stick - it is not detecting remaining storage and any attempt to format the 7GB unallocated space results in error.
