(09-04-2021, 06:52 PM)superfast944 Yes I tried that, about 20 times .... no luck.

Could the fact that the modem is -automatically- in use via Windows to connect to Internet, be a problem?
...

No, i hope you installed the drivers, when you connect the mifi to the pc using usb, a new drive should be available in "this pc"
install the software from within this new drive then attempt to reconnect dc unlocker

Thanks for answering X3non!

Plugin in the modem show up in 'my pc' as a drive E. See attachment.
Then it executes E:\autorun.exe.
Right-click on the icon gives the modem information, see attachment.

Still no modem detection by DC unlocker .....

very strange, download the tool @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fWL3xmo...BeuCN/view
run the project mode .cmd
it should switch the com ports, then retry dc unlocker
1. auto detect
2. select your model and the ports as seen in device manager

ERROR

Is it possible to run this e5573 without battery?

yes? if you need proof then see the video @ https://youtu.be/HihRklHOAZA

i'm guessing the firmware you have on your device rejects the AT command, try looking for and flashing an M_AT firmware (i.e modified with adb enabled firmware) to your device then retry the command

I'm also getting that code error and my device is factory unlocked no need for unlocking (bought already open to any simcard/operator). Do you have any links for this M_AT firmware that I can flash?

See error below:

Thanks for that but unfortunately the only modified firmware that's there is the E5573s-320, my modem is the one with Band 28 support (E5573s-606) which is what's actively running in it. So is there one for E5573s-606?

Okay is this particular one posted here an unlocked specific ISP firmware or is it the original untouched manufacturer customized firmware?

none of the above, it's a modified general firmware

Alright, thanks for your reply however I've been following what happened to Hogamany@yahoo.com's modem here on page 1 and it seems they never got it sorted out (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-344...#pid212114). With that in mind I'm not so sure I'm ready for that experience should things go south especially when I consider the boot shot config for mine is architecturally different when I compare to what is shown in the pics and pin out locations. I don't have a backup modem to fall back to in the event it fails.

I have however achieved 100% success but not using your firmware code, I've used a homemade RC circuit to fool the modem into thinking it has its original battery and it works like a charm (no heating issues, no drop of signals but improved internet speeds due to consistent power) and my back cover is closed neatly with the components housed inside. So is it something I can share here in this thread?
