That means the clockworkmod recovery image flashed is not compatible with your phone. We'll need to get another.
1. What's the phone model again?
2. Have you downloaded any of the ROMs we gave you links to? If you have then list the files inside the ROM

will need to embark on a search for either the stock or CWM recovery image for your phone to stabilise recover mode. you can join in the search by googling "Clockworkmod or stock recovery image for HTC sensation xl X315e

Boot into Recovery mode > Mounts and storage
Now, list all the options you see under Mounts and Storage

Have downloaded a stock Rom need to flash itit

Click on Mount sub storage so it should change to unMount sub storage then connect the phone via USB cord to PC. Your PC should detect a storage device. copy the ROM(s) to the root directory (as in don't place it inside any folder) of the storage device device. After this, unmount storage then go back to the main menu in clockworkmod recovery > Install zip from Sd card > choose zip from sd card / choose zip from internal sd card (depending on where you copied the ROM) > select the rom file > Yes to confirm
