(06-08-2015, 01:36 PM)Moody2times Hello,
I set up adb and followed every step but i didn't see the adb_usb.ini file. I am working on a itel it1701 and using the shortcut master my phone didn't show SET IMEI. So i have been trying to use method two but the Write tool never detects my phone. pls assist

did you install ADB using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-588.html ?

First of all, thanks for the reply. Secondly, sorry for late reply. Finally, Yes, I followed the instructions mathematically. I'm using Windows 8. The Spreadtrum write tool just do not detect my device.

I have successfully followed your instructions with other itel phones. This itel it1701, however, in engineering mode under telephony does not have the SET IMEI command. So, engineering mode is a no go area. I'm saying, I've used all methods already. I'd appreciate any further  assistance. Thanks

(12-11-2014, 02:00 PM)hovatek 7. Click Browse... and locate your driver's .inf file is, then select it (Spreadtrum Drivers > SciU2S > x86/x64 for 32bit/64bit PC respectively > driver > SciU2S.inf)

Can't perform this step with my DEPX Ixion E140 (build with SC7731) using Windows XP.

As if no. See image attached, where "В указанном месте отсутствуют сведения об оборудовании" is written. Which probably means "There aren't any information about the equipment in the place specified".
