I have been looking around how to make a backup of my rom.
The phone is a Mijue T200 with the MTK 6735 quadcore processor working at 1.3Ghz.
The reason is simple. One way or another these 'tools' at Mijue have implemented the idea of splitting up a 16GB interal SD rom into 2 partitions - with only a 2GB partition to install apps on (and 10GB of user data). Can you believe it? This makes the phone almost completely useless. You can install a few apps, and that is it.
I have found a potential solution to resize the partitions on xda
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/...l-t3180978
however this is only possible when a custom recovery is installed.
This leaves me with a problem. How to install a custom recovery, if there is one.
The phone cannot be rooted with any of the available tools. I have tried!
I do NOT ave available a stock rom. (I think Mijue is bankrupt or something, because nowhere there is information to be found of the company anywhere). THEREFORE I NEED TO DO A READBACK OF THE STOCK ROM FIRST.
My plan of attack.
1) Use SP flash tool - to read back the rom BUT problem - I do not have a scatter file.
2) I have found scatter files from another mt 6735 phone, but they are not exactly the same - thus
3) Using Engineer mode, I have been able to read back information from emmc memory of the phone and I think I can change the few things that need to be changed.
If successful, this allows me to read back the entire rom from the phone and store it.
Question:
1) how to proceed from there?
2) Do I need to read back entire rom, or should I read back any single partition?
3) If I read back any single partition, how to name them?
4) How to create a custom recovery (TWRP/CWM) out of this?
All help is gratefully acknowledged!
Sven.

Hi Hovatek, please, can anyone help me with an back-up/stock rom for Mijue T200? I don't have a back-up and now I am in bootloop. Please, I don't care if it's stock or modified, I just want to work.
