you might need to try another M7 backup. do you get this same error with other versions of SP flash tool?

I've downloaded the v3, I was able to create the readback file. Since the phone can't come on, how do I process the readback file with MTKDroid tools please

This is explained in the tutorial but you'll need a working M7 that can be recognized by MTK droid tools for that option to be clickable. you could try using any Tecno phone around you.
Another alternative is to use the first method (backing up a single file) in the tutorial to backup each file one at a time. this might be a little tedious but its your best bet for making a full ROM dump since you dont have a working phone of the same model around .

lets know which you decide

you'll have to read back / dump one file at a time then. let's know when that's done
