My bothers' Samsung galaxy j7 doesn't brings or show the service/network in some areas especially if we're indoor.
we have been battling with this issue for sometime now, please what could possibly be the solution?

Remove the radio settings from either 3G only or 4G only.
also,have you tried other network's SIM cards?
If its the same after the above then the problem might be from the EFS. You might want to back that up first before we consider fixing

1. Is the phone able to detect 3G when outdoors?
2. Did you recently unlock, flash or upgrade the phone?
3. is it original or cloned?

1. yea, it detects 3g when outdoor
2. he bought the phone from someone of which he can't locate the person for now, so he can't say if it was unlocked or updated recently.
3. how do I detect if it's original or cloned, all I know is that it's J700F released 2015.

I really don't think it was updated since it's still on version 5 lollipop same as the original version j7 comes with, waiting to get a solution, someone said if could upgrade it to marshmallow it might work don't know how try it is.

2. yes, the signal on the Samsung drops rapidly/frequently even when outdoors.

I don't think you're alone. Might be a problems with the hardware or software radio
The first thing you should do is backup the EFS.
After that, you have two options
1. Try using this EFS backup @ http://www.gsmhosting.co/samsung-galaxy-...-file.html
2. Consider checking for an OTA update under Settings > About, flashing the firmware or a custom ROM if that will help.
If those don't help then you might need to have the radio changed
