[Please help] SP Flash Tool on BLADE V7 Lite B06
[Please help] SP Flash Tool on BLADE V7 Lite B06
(09-02-2017, 02:42 PM)Codu Thank for the hint.
To put it one line, I should try a scatter file built by MTK Droid, all partitions ticked and change the platform accordingly.
Hm, I'll be very surprised if the result wont be the same...
I'll keep you posted.
(09-02-2017, 09:39 PM)Codu Please check the attached files.
Best guess, MTK tool doesn't like this phone either:
- in bootloader mode the application enters an infinite loop
- in normal mode read is ok, but it cant get flash the segments addreses/sizes
I just hope you're not gonna run out of ideas .
Kindly,
Codu.
(09-02-2017, 10:16 PM)hovatek MTK Droid tools doesn't support your chipset. Notice i didn't mention it in any of my suggestions. The thread you mentioned, pointed to a MTK Droid tool user guide
(09-02-2017, 10:11 PM)hovatek No.Maybe I didn't get the idea.
(09-02-2017, 10:11 PM)hovatek 1. Do a full dump using Miracle BoxAlready have that.
(09-02-2017, 10:11 PM)hovatek 2. Grab the Miracle Box scatter fileWanna see it ?
(09-02-2017, 10:11 PM)hovatek 3. Download an MT6735P scatter file onlineDownloaded the MT6735 from https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-12724.html
(09-02-2017, 10:11 PM)hovatek 4. Modify the downloaded scatter file using the values from the Miracle Box scatter (platform, start and size)
(10-02-2017, 07:47 AM)Codu The thread you mentioned, pointed to a MTK Droid tool user guide

(10-02-2017, 10:51 AM)hovatek MTK Droid tools was mentioned in that guide to get the blocks map. For phones like yours, Miracle Box scatter (which you already have) is where you get the blocks map info
(10-02-2017, 12:37 PM)Codu PS: MB cant write it, says something like "Error: patti".
(10-02-2017, 04:29 PM)hovatek You'll get this error in Miracle Box when you untick preloader.bin (or its not present) when flashing .
(10-02-2017, 10:31 PM)Codu Well, you see, for this type of phones (MTKs) to backup the preloader is particularly useless: when you'll need to flash it, it's already to late...
This is why I wanna make this phone cope with SP Flash Tools.
Getting back to my issue, I followed your instructions and the result is attached to the post.
Kindly,
(11-02-2017, 12:23 PM)hovatek Lets put SP Flash tool aside for a bit. Once Miracle Box backs up and writes successfully, it'll be easier to replicate the same on SP flash tool.
Now, I believe you have a full Miracle Box backup in scatter format. Try flashing only preloader.bin and cache.bin (both created by Miracle Box)

All good Phone Heath 100% (this time), wiped the cache although from the Recovery Boot.
BUT constantly flashing the Preloader is not my cup of tea, 'cause I fk-up a few phones in my youth (the early days of flash like 15+ years ago).
