[Please help] Damaged USB storage - Printable Version

Damaged USB storage - Phyyene - 08-29-2016

please my tecno G9 tab brings up the Damaged USB storage whenever i put it on. it will show USB storage is damged, try reformatting it. This all started when i extended my internal drive from 1Gb to 4Gb, some apps will show me this message for example  "unfortunately, facebook has stopped working." PLEASE what can i do to solve this Huh

Which method did you use to increase your storage?

Which method did you use to increase your storage?

I used ebrtweak to increase it

Tweak to less than 4GB instead. Then boot into factory mode (vol down + power) and wipe emmc

i did did it to 3GB and it's still behaving the same way

Did you flash the original ebr before you tweaked again?
Try flashing the stock ebr and check if its the same

do you still have your unmodified ebr file? if yes flash to your phone using spflashtool see here for clarity https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-718.html

Did you wipe emmc in factory (not recovery) mode?
