[Community] Itel A11 & A12 _REPARTTITION_ error fix - hovatek - 19-06-2018
This thread is dedicated to those still struggling with _REPARTTITION_ error while trying to flash the Itel A12 or Itel A11. After going through many cases over several months, only a few were able to be fixed by backing up a working phone using boxes like Infinity CM2 SPD. The bulk couldn't; even some who had boxes and working phones of the same model. Changing the emmc chip was the only alternative for a good number.
This narrows down the solution to one of the folloiwng:
- Finding the right tool like Factory Download tool @ https://mega.nz/#!8GxgGQTB!Vg5BjSySGylPm_uSAUa_9gYm07XMVDCZDEk4Dhefoi4 and pac file to flash
- Having a Spreadtrum Chinese box and access to a working phone of the same model
- Replacing the emmc chip
@samwanjeri was one of the few who had success reviving by backing up a working phone and was the only one who uploaded on request; the others just vanished after we helped solve the issue. Below is a CM2 SPD backup for the Itel A11 he sent. We'll try convert it to pac so those who don't have the box can try and give feedback. We're still working on getting an A12 backup that actually worked for somebody.

The outcomes actually vary. For some, its about the pac file, for some its about the tool used, for some its about a specific partition, for some nothing but an emmc replacement could help. I don't know which category yours would fall under
The goal of this thread is to identify those who have tried everything but still hit a brick wall.

Its still a mixture of hardware and software.
Do you have issues flashing either model?

Yes, i had, both a11 and a12 , until last night when I flashed an a12.
Basically, the solution @ 9ja rom is legit, I think you just have to be mindful of battery and driver, you should also restart the system when you get errors, also disable driver signature enforcement.

Try different ROMs also, I think anyone at this stage should have about 5 or 6 :-)
