Sony Xperia Specifications and stock rom request. - Pasiante - 07-20-2018

Hi everyone Wink. So I have a Sony Xperia which is kinda hard bricked cause it has totally blacked out but detected by PC. However, all I know about the device is its name Sony Xperia, so it's practically impossible to download the right stock ROM. I tried looking it up on internet and in most instances it turned out to be an Xperia XZ Premium Clone with an MT6580 SoC. I couldn't entirely rely on that info hence I was hoping anyone can help me in identifying the Model, Build number and Hardware/SoC for my device with the help of phone's photos attached below and there is a code, QRW5 OHD-Q10, imprinted behind the phone's screen inside and what seems to me like a phone's release date OUT-2017-07-11 also inside. Unfortunately that's all the information I have to identify it.

After that I then look forward to finding the correct stock ROM for the device so to revive it. Hope you could help me with that too.
I'll really appreciate..

all one can guess from that image is the model.  Build Number / SoC? No way, especially when you suspect it might be a clone.
Launch device manager then connect the phone while off. What does it get detected as?

It's being detected as USB Serial Device (COM3)

That doesn't say much yet
How exactly did the device get bricked?

Well, it was working just fine until this day when it just couldn't switch on, i tried pluging the charger but not even the charging icon could show. So I tried connecting it to the computer, and all I got was a detection sound and nothing more. I also thought it was the battery which is somewhat internal but has a provision to just unplug it from the main panel. I had to try another battery but still. Moreover, it couldn't even be detected without the battery that's how I knew the problem ain't with the battery.

I had a ROM for an MT6572 SoC on my PC so I tried to flash the device with just cache data (to avoid further damage) of the rom using SP flash tool and an error Baseband chip not match something like that popped up which proved that the device is not running on an MT6572 SoC & can br revived with the correct ROM. So I also tried downloading one on the XZ premium clone roms running MT6580 SoC, tried flashing the cache data only and this time the error S Storage not match (31...) popped up and from that I concluded that the device is  sure running on an MT6580 SoC cause if it didn't, I should have got the same error I got from the MT6572 ROM that Baseband Chip Mismatch. OR is my SoC assessment wrong/unreliable??

thats not a bad approach, at least you figured the chipset. what you should do now is dump the current firmware from your device before you try flashing any roms onto the device
dump the firmware in scatter file using the guide at https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html

Thanks X3non, I'll do that right away. Though I can't help but wonder if dumping the firmwareof a bricked device is also supported.

Yes, you can. You could use a box / dongle (if you have one) or Wwr @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-21970.html

Thank you. But I don't have a box or dongle. How much does it cost and which one is better between the two?

The link @Hovatek's reply doesn't require a hardware dongle. (WWR).
