What's the phone's chipset and Android version?
Does the phone have a valid baseband? Check settings > about > baseband.

You'll need to flash stock ROM or atleast secro.img to regain baseband.
Did you recently flash the phone? If yes, factory reset the phone in settings > security > factory reset then check if baseband will be valid.

Also, make sure you to backup the phone's firmware in case anything goes wrong. See https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html

Thanks.
I didn't flash but just hard reset it.

If am to flash then there is a challenge because it's not an original Samsung.
Can i use any other firmware as long as it's MT6580? I can't find the firmware the phone is a clone.
When i go to "about phone" it shows j7,
But when i checked using droid tool it shows model as j57. Also on the back cover model: J57 now am confused which is which.
Any help

It's not an original Samsung device as you stated, you have to first of all take a backup of the current firmware using this guide https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html then you are to flash nvram and nvdata from an mt6580 phone using the scatter file you got from the backup you did.

To achieve that on SP flash tool, you are going to edit your scatter file using this guide https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-24287.html
