Please how can one get to know the right ROM with the build number of a device that's bricked to flash with?

Assuming there's no prior knowledge of the build number or version of the device when it's working?

Need to flash a phone now but not sure which of the ROMs to flash it with.

That depends on its present condition.
If you're able to extract the original system.img or Build.prop then that could help

That depends on its present condition.

It's dead to stimulus. Not responding to anything. Doesn't charge, doesn't power up and it doesn't connect to pc

for Samsung Qualcomm, it depends if its original or cloned (MTK).
If its original then you'll need a JIG to revive it. You could check the Board if the Build Number is inscribed
