Okay. Is there a way of making a faster back up? I've tried doing that but it takes forever to calculate the files and even longer to start copying them. And it doesn't seem to work with card readers too. I guess this started when I made the mistake of merging both the internal memory and the sd card.

if you completed the first step of the rooting guide, then you already have a backup.

I meant backing up my files. And I also meant that card readers couldn't read the sd card when I tried to transfer them to the computer using card readers on Windows 7. I've figured out a way to go about this, tho'. Ubuntu seems to have no problem with copying files.
Thanks for your response.
