(16-12-2017, 08:48 PM)Shailesh Meena scatter file with this attechment is not right. because it caused the same problem like before when there was nothing to choose to flash.....

i used another scatter file from privious attechments.... and it opened

but phone still isnt opening in recovery right after flashing

Flash this patched boot.img at https://mega.nz/#!JbRXXZiL!riPBwdbwsUYYW...0TpHiYqiD0
then check for root using root checker

should i flash the recovery and preloader.bin too or just this boot.bin ????
It doesnt have its scatter file...... no boot.bin is showing in box which let you choose xyz.bin to flash.

the initial scatter file you provided had issues, dump the firmware of your device again and ensure to select all partitions when dumping.
once successful, use the scatter file from the new dump to flash the boot.bin

i flashed the boot.bin
and then it directly opened in recovery mode right after flashing.....  but it was gionee's default recovery so there was nothing i could have done....i tried " apply update from SDCard " option and selected supersu.zip file but it didn't install.....

then i let it boot normally
and it shows an error (Screenshot included)

I'm attaching the new scatter file......  last one was corrupted i guess... this on works fine.

OK, so lets take it boot.bin flashed properly
download and install magisk manager on your device before checking root checker

i fleshed only boot.bin file successfully

then booted the phone
installed the Magisk.apk
which asked me to install magisk.zip file and after installing it failed (attaching log file)

magisk's screenshot is included
root checker says no root

PS: magisk asks me to install that .zip file via TWRP..... which i don't have for this gionee s plus build

That explains a lot about the trouble we've been having with your device. Creating a working custom recovery is just the first step. Your device uses a Sony ELF boot image so you'll need to flash Boot Bridge @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossde...f-t3506883 in the custom recovery before going on to root using SuperSu or Magisk.

I need to see your Build.prop file. Extract using either ADB or system.img unpack method at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16005.html
