I have done everything from this tutorial as is indicated with the same result. I flashed the recovery.img from stock with magisk, then signed it with avbtool and tried to flash it with modified fastboot and the process gets stopped.
In my Ksysguard the process appears suspended in disc as if it were waiting something to happen.
Any idea?
(17-08-2020, 04:19 PM)speed_cars Hello, in the latest version of Magisk Manager, there is no Patch Boot Output option. What can you replace it with?

thanks so much for your help! but you forgot to add something that almost gave me a heart attack lol. Android 8 and above devices usually have a/b partitions so that would cause the command to flash the boot to change. You have to find the active partition first to do that use the command in screenshot 145 below. scroll down and you would see the current active slot, either _a or _b
now change the command according to screenshot 149 depending on your active slot (mine was _a) and thats all!
if you dont change your command to specify the active slot you will probably get an error like in screenshot 148 hence you have to change it
be gentle with the comments guys this is my first post
