The firmware you're trying to flash is possibly for a different region . Two fixes I've come across are:
1. Flash a firmware with the right .pit file and select repartition
2. Unpack the tar.md5 by first renaming to .tar then unzipping using 7zip. Delete hidden.img then rapack as tar then add the .md5 extension (using 7zip manager). If you get binary error then flash as .tar instead of .tar.md5

Am yet to try the pit file.. But the second one, i tried to flash it using Miracle box , then uncheck hidden partition. It flashed without errors, but stuck on boot logo, and keeps rebooting. And couldnt go into recovery mode. Flashed CWM, reset it to factory mode. Now when i switch it on, it shows the samsung note boot up screen with that green, blue led blinking , and nothing else from there.

But am surprised in the other hand since i tried to check the model of the phone on imei.info , and here is what i got... Which is which? The model of this phone is N910s or N910f????
