So I made a backup from a working zte e7l and flashed it on my bricked e7l using miracle box. On startup, the stock camera app disappeared and not even in system apps. The phone I backed up from has all working fine. What could have gone wrong?

try installing a 3rd party camera app from playstore e.g camera360
if the new app fails to work, then its likely your camera has developed hardware fault

The camera was working before the phone got bricked. The third party camera app force closes when launched. If its hardware I expect an error like cannot connect to camera

Its also possible that the phone you backed up isn't the same variant / build as yours so there are slight differences in the kernel

One way to verify is to find another firmware or custom rom built for your model
