This thread is dedicated to listing Secure Boot Download Agent (DA) files for Blackview Mediatek (MTK) Android devices. It is a community effort so the files are free, no passwords. If you have any confirmed DA that's not listed below then help this list grow by sending it to us.

Why would I need an MTK Secure Boot DA file?

For recent Blackview devices which have Secure Boot, you will encounter Authentication or Buffer errors while trying to flash using SP flash tool or Secure Boot! error when using a dongle like Infinity CM2. For such devices, you'll need a custom Secure Boot DA file. It'll also come in handy when trying to bypass Factory Reset Protection (FRP).

How do I use an Blackview custom Secure Boot DA file?

After you've downloaded and extracted the bin file, you rename the file to MTK_AllInOne_DA_SP.bin or DA_SWSEC.bin (depending on what you downloaded). At this point, you either manually load the DA in the flash tool you are using or replace the tool's default Download Agent with the custom DA then relaunch the tool. To learn how to use / load a DA file in several Mediatek flash tools, see the guide on how to use a secure boot DA file for Mediatek devices.

Important Notice
  • Do not format devices with secure boot or flash using firmware upgrade
  • Some DA files are tool-specific (i.e will only work with a specific Mediatek tool) so try them on as many Mediatek Flash tools as you can

this model doesn't seem to have secure boot, if you have a particular problem with your device then create a new thread as suggested by @innagee

I'm trying to install TWRP onto first a BV5500Plus, then onto a BV9500.
I flashed what I thought was a correct TWRP onto my BV5500 using SPFT.
It flashed without error etc, but then BOOTLOOPED. To solve the bootloop, I flashed the stock recovery.img from SPFT.
That solved bootlooping immediately.

Ok so my question: Do these phones have the secure boot?
==> BV5500 Plus, BV9500?
Tnx.

That you were able to flash the firmware without a DA file means there's no secure boot but they seem to have dm verity

OK, how do I solve the dm verity problem?
I've checked the scatter.txt (BV5500), there are partitions for =
vb_meta
vbmeta_system
vbmeta_vendor

On the BV9500, no such partitions at all.
(I haven't yet tried TWRP on BV9500, using 5500 as guinea pig)

Also I have questions about Magisk... Whether merely using the latest github version is sufficient, or must Magisk be compiled for each make of phone like TWRP?
